Multilogin Proxy Integration

Multilogin X pairs its Mimic and Stealthfox browsers with a hardened fingerprint engine, but the exit IP is still yours to provide. This guide covers exactly where Multilogin keeps its proxy fields, how to use proxy templates, and how to bind a ProxyOmega residential IP to each profile.

What is Multilogin?

Multilogin is one of the original antidetect browsers and is widely treated as the enterprise-grade option. The current generation, Multilogin X, ships two browser cores, Mimic (Chromium-based) and Stealthfox (Firefox-based), and gives each profile a fully managed fingerprint covering canvas, WebGL, fonts, audio, timezone, WebRTC and more.

It is built for teams that run large numbers of accounts with strict isolation, agencies, ad buyers, data operations and marketplaces, and includes granular team roles, cloud profile storage and an automation API for Selenium and Playwright. Multilogin manages identities; the IP address behind each profile comes from a proxy you configure.

Why Multilogin needs residential proxies

Multilogin's fingerprinting is thorough, but it cannot change your IP address by itself. If multiple Mimic or Stealthfox profiles all exit through one IP, the accounts inside them can be correlated regardless of how distinct each fingerprint is. The IP has to come from a proxy, and for account work it should be residential.

Residential IPs come from real consumer connections, so they avoid the blanket suspicion applied to datacenter ranges. The reliable pattern is one clean residential IP per Multilogin profile, held stable for the life of a session.

Strict isolation

Assign a unique sticky IP to each profile using a distinct -session- tag. Two profiles on one IP defeats the isolation Multilogin works to provide.

Coherent identity

Multilogin's proxy check reads IP-dependent data so the fingerprint stays consistent with the exit IP. Choose the country in the username and the browser aligns timezone and geolocation.

Reusable templates

Multilogin's proxy template manager lets you save a ProxyOmega configuration once and apply it across many profiles, so scaling to hundreds of profiles takes seconds rather than manual re-entry.

How to set up ProxyOmega in Multilogin X

In Multilogin X the proxy lives in the Proxy section of each profile, and you set the connection type to Custom. Multilogin runs an automatic proxy check as you enter details, so you get instant feedback. For scale, save the configuration as a proxy template.

Targeting is carried on the username with dash-separated parameters, and the password is your ProxyOmega account API key.

  1. Click 'Create profile' and choose a browser core (Mimic or Stealthfox).
  2. Open the 'Proxy' section and set the connection type to 'Custom' rather than 'None' or a built-in Multilogin proxy.
  3. Choose the protocol: 'HTTP', 'HTTPS' or 'SOCKS5'. All three run on the same ProxyOmega port.
  4. Enter the host residential.proxyomega.com and port 10000 (any assigned port in 10000-10199). Multilogin also accepts a pasted IP:port:login:password string.
  5. Set the login/username with targeting, for example youruser-country-fr-session-mx12-ttl-1440.
  6. Set the password to your ProxyOmega account API key from the dashboard.
  7. Wait for the automatic 'Proxy check passed' confirmation, and verify the reported country matches your -country- value.
  8. Optionally click to save the configuration as a proxy template, then create/save the profile.

Which ProxyOmega plan to pick

Every ProxyOmega plan works identically inside Multilogin X, so pick by the job. High-volume account management fits Budget Unlimited, while accounts that demand precise targeting or a fixed identity justify a premium tier.

Troubleshooting

A failed Multilogin proxy check is almost always the API key, an unsupported username parameter, or a whitelist conflict. Check these in order.

Proxy check failed / 407

Confirm the password is your ProxyOmega API key, not your dashboard login password. Then confirm every dash-parameter on the username is supported by the plan; an invalid parameter rejects the entire username and returns 407.

Check passes but pages will not load

This points to IP whitelisting. Once any IP is whitelisted, only whitelisted IPs connect and username/password auth is bypassed. Whitelist the machine running Multilogin or remove the whitelist.

Timezone or country mismatch warning

Correct the two-letter -country- code and let Multilogin re-run its proxy check so it re-reads IP-dependent data and realigns the fingerprint.

SOCKS5 not connecting

Use the same host and port as HTTP and switch the protocol to SOCKS5. ProxyOmega does not use a separate SOCKS5 port.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Multilogin X work with both Mimic and Stealthfox?
Yes. The proxy configuration is identical for both cores. Set the Proxy section to Custom, choose HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5, and enter the ProxyOmega host, port, username and API key.
What is the password field in Multilogin?
Your ProxyOmega account API key from the dashboard, not your login password. An incorrect password makes the automatic proxy check fail.
Can I reuse one ProxyOmega proxy across many profiles?
Yes, via Multilogin's proxy template manager. Save the ProxyOmega configuration once, then give each profile a different -session- id so every profile still gets its own sticky IP.
How do I make a Multilogin profile keep one IP?
Add -session- with a unique id and -ttl- in minutes to the username. The same session id returns the same sticky IP for up to 60 hours.
Does Multilogin support SOCKS5 with ProxyOmega?
Yes. Select SOCKS5 as the protocol and use the same residential.proxyomega.com host and port you use for HTTP. Every ProxyOmega port serves HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5.
How do I set the country per profile?
Append -country- and a two-letter code to the username, such as youruser-country-fr. Multilogin aligns timezone and geolocation to the resulting IP during its proxy check.
